PLC Based Data Acquisition Unit

One of the major components that set Continental Laboratories apart is our PLC based (Programmable Logic Controller) data acquisition unit. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we developed our system using proven and user-friendly technology. With our hardware configuration, customers can simply use a plug and play approach with the unit, having the flexibility to plug in both analog and digital components.

The PLC based data acquisition unit was also designed with a built in integration program that currently samples at 30 times per second. The integration program samples C1, C2, C3, IC4 and NC4 in real time. The data generated from the integration program is then reported on all clients on location. Additional unit specifications include:
